Day 1 · Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Your 3-day Maasai Mara safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or airport. Meet your professional safari guide and depart for the Maasai Mara. Travel through the beautiful Kenyan countryside and stop at a scenic Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views and take photographs. Continue toward Narok for a short break before proceeding to the Maasai Mara. After lunch at your lodge or tented camp, enjoy your first afternoon game drive. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its exceptional wildlife concentration. During the afternoon drive, keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and possibly cheetahs or leopards. As the sun begins to set over the savannah, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve near the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos are often seen. During the migration season, you may witness dramatic wildebeest river crossings.
