Safari Overview

Why the Rongai Route works

The Rongai Route ascends Kilimanjaro from the less-trafficked north face near the Kenyan border, offering a less crowded, less rainy, and gentler-grade climb than the southern routes.

Built-in time at Mawenzi Tarn allows for solid acclimatization before the lunar saddle traverse to Kibo Hut and the midnight summit push to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m).
