Day 1:
Entebbe – Shoebill tracking
After arriving at Entebbe International Airport and clearing immigration, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. If you arrive early, you can explore options like birdwatching at the botanical gardens, visiting Mabamba Swamp to spot rare birds, or strolling through local markets to experience Ugandan urban culture.
You’ll stay at: Boutique Hotel Number 5 (Luxury) or Papyrus Guesthouse (Comfortable)
Day 2:
Fly Entebbe – Kisoro
Gorilla safari in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park begins with a flight from Entebbe to Kisoro. The flight covers Lake Victoria, central plains, and southwest hills. The driver picks you up and takes you to a lodge. In the afternoon, walk the Batwa Forest Trail in Buniga Forest to learn about ancient cultural tales and hunting skills. From 6 Kisoro Airport, join a walking safari in Kisoro Town for 4-5 hours.
Staying at: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3:
Gorilla Trekking
A butler prepares you for the trip, including a packed lunch, trekking gear, and water. The tour begins at 7:30 am, followed by a tracking guide and rangers to locate a habituated gorilla group. The machete-wilding guide guides you through the jungle, allowing you to observe the gorillas for an hour.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 4:
Optional Activities
This day offers optional activities for travelers, including relaxation at the lodge, a second visit to the jungle, a traditional dug-out canoeing experience at Lake Mutanda, a forest walk through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and a sundowner picnic on top of the world with 360-degree views of the hilly landscapes. Pre-booked trekking permits are required.

Day 5:
Fly Kisoro to Entebbe
Early morning drive to Kisoro Airstrip for local flight to Entebbe International Airport. Freshen up at Papyrus guest house in Entebbe for international flight, but accommodation not included.
Accommodation (Optional): Papyrus Guesthouse
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch.
