Day 1:
Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel or airport and drive to Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. After a short siesta, embark on an evening game drive ready to explore the reserve in search of the special five and the Big Five. Later dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.
Day 2:
Samburu National Reserve
Today you will have a full day of game drives to fully explore Samburu. On a typical game drive, you will have a chance to spot animals such as lions, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, elephants, and buffalos among others. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day 3:
Samburu – Ol Pejeta
After breakfast, check out and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving in time for lunch. Spend your afternoon on leisure before proceeding for an evening game drive. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the home to the Chimpanzees in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.
Day 4:
Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru
After your breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Lake Nakuru was formally known for its huge population of flamingoes. It is home to the endangered black and white rhinos as well as the rare species of the Rothschild’s giraffe. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive trying to spot wildlife such as lions, leopards, rhinos, zebras, hyenas, and elephants. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.
Day 5:
Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Early morning breakfast followed by a morning game drive. Later depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Hells Gate National Park for cycling. Hells Gate National Park is the only park where you can watch the game while walking or cycling. Later dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 6:
Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara
After breakfast, proceed for a boat ride to the crescent island. During the guided nature walk, you are likely to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and bushbuck among others. Later depart for Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Masai Mara is one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world and also hosts the world phenomenon of wildebeest migration and is home to the African Big Five. Upon arrival, enjoy your lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.
Day 7-8:
Full Day Masai Mara
On These two days, you will enjoy full-day game drives at the Mara giving you enough exploration about the park’s wildlife, Birdlife, and landscapes. On a typical game drive, you are to encounter wildlife such as the Big Five; lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo as well as cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, topis, gazelles, hyenas, and elands among others. On these days you can opt to do a balloon ride, where you watch the Mara plains from an eagle’s view. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.
Day 9:
Masai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast, set off for an optional Maasai village visit to learn about their culture and their way of living. Afterward, depart for Nairobi with an en-route lunch. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your onward flight.
