8 Days Lake Turkana Safari

8-Day Turkana Safari – This is a cultural and scenic adventure through the remote Lake Turkana in the North of Kenya. You will traverse along some of Africa`s rough roads with an opportunity to see endemic wildlife in the North of Kenya, a beautiful mountain forest surrounded by hot dusty deserts, eventually arriving at the shores of the beautiful Jade Sea (Lake Turkana). As well as spectacular scenery is the people of northern Kenya that Make the most lasting impression; Nomadic pastoralists such as the Gabbra, Turkana, and Samburu whose adherence to a strictly traditional lifestyle and dress is practically unique in modern East Africa. Lake Turkana is the largest desert Lake in the World and extends for 288 kilometers from Kenya up to the Ethiopia border, surrounded by volcanic rock and desert. Lake Turkana is a massive inland sea, the largest desert Lake in the world and also known as the Jade Sea because of its remarkable blue-green color.
