This is a 6-day journey to the most famous parks in northern Tanzania. You will start with Tarangire, the land of giant baobab trees, then move to Lake Manyara, home to pink flamingos. Further on, you will visit Ngorongoro Crater-two million years old-and conclude with a three-day safari in Serengeti. You will go through tropical forests, areas of volcanic land that are very dry. It will be a tour of unforgettable memories.

Day 1:
Arrival

The group lands at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), where they are greeted by a Simba Paka Safaris representative and taken to a hotel in Arusha.

Day 2:
Tarangire National Park

Have breakfast at the hotel and leave for a guided game drive in Tarangire National Park. In this park, you can see many wild animals from Tanzania, such as lions, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras. However, it is especially known for its large number of elephants, which often stay near the Tarangire River, their main water source. Kindly note that it is a wild nature around and the guide cannot ensure some particular animals for you, but they will make maximum effort to find exactly what you want to see. some rare species were noticed. You will be taken out for lunch and then continue with the safaris. Later in the evening, you’ll get back to the hotel.

Day 3:
Lake Manyara

You will wake up early, have breakfast, and then travel to Lake Manyara. This park is full of groundwater streams that create a perfect habitat for plants, as well as many birds, including pink flamingos, and African forest animals. Around lunchtime, you’ll visit the Maji Moto hot springs, and the driver will give you lunchboxes. After this stop, the safari will continue, and by evening, you’ll be transferred to a hotel.

Day 4:
Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Have breakfast then embark on an amazing guided game drive. Ngorongoro is among the most famous national parks in Tanzania, as it is rich in a variety of animals. Here you can see buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and wild cats like caracals and servals. If you’re lucky, you might also spot a rhinoceros, which is becoming very rare. You will have lunch at the lake area by lunchtime and afterwards continue with the safari to Serengeti National Park, a few hours away. En-route, you will visit the memorial for two German researchers, Bernhard and Michael Grzimek, who helped protect the national parks in Tanzania. Their full story can be read in the book “Serengeti Shall Not Die” available on Amazon. Evening, you will be taken to a hotel in the valley of Serengeti.

Day 5:
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll go on a safari in the eastern and southern areas of the park. These areas are mostly open savanna, giving you a good chance to see cheetahs hunting antelopes. In the evening, you’ll be taken to a hotel where you can have dinner and relax.

Day 6:
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will start a safari in central Serengeti-Seronera, where your driver will look for the animals you are interested in. You will visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre for lunch and get information about the history of the park and its animals. Serengeti hosts a large amount of different animals, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and cheetahs. Later in the evening, you will head to northern Serengeti and then transfer to your hotel.

Day 7:
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will start the game drive in northern Serengeti, known for its unique landscape and rich wildlife. On this day, you will have an opportunity to see animals that live in the more remote parts of the park. Early afternoon, the safari will be over, and you will head to the hotel in Arusha.

Day 8:
Departure

Rest in the hotel and transfer to the airport.
