7 Days Kenya Game Viewing Safari

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi followed by a short briefing and later a drive to Samburu National Reserve with a stopover at the equator. Proceed with your drive arriving at Samburu in time for lunch. After a siesta, embark on an afternoon game drive Samburu is one of the less visited destinations in Kenya and thus less spoilt. This offers good sightings of wildlife since it’s not crowded. The reserve is home to plenty of wildlife including the Special Five; Somali ostrich, Reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, grevys zebra, and beisa oryx. Later after the game drive return to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot the predators hunting and killing for food. Later return to your accommodation for breakfast before setting off for a full-day game drive with your packed lunch. You are likely to spot wildlife such as lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and impalas among others as well as a variety of bird species. Later dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy with an en-route game drive. Arrive in time for a hot lunch. Spend your afternoon at leisure before heading for an evening game drive. Ol Pejeta is the only Chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. After your evening game drives, return to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha through the floor of the Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch. Lake Naivasha has a huge population of hippos and is also a bird haven. The Lake has accessibility to Crescent Island through a boat ride where you may encounter wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes among others. Later dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

After an early breakfast, enjoy cycling at the Hells Gate National Park before departing for Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival, check-in for lunch and later an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is one of the most visited wildlife sanctuaries due to its extraordinary wildlife including the African Big Five and a lot of plain games. Later dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Today you will have a full day of game drives and enough time to explore the Mara teeming with wildlife and birdlife. Early morning hours will give you a chance to have a lifetime experience spotting the hunt and kill by predators over prey for food. Be ready to spot wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos, rhinos, wildebeests, impalas, spotted hyenas, and zebras among others not forgetting different species of birds. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Today you will have an optional visit to the Maasai Village before departing. Learn more about their culture and their way of living. Later enjoy your sumptuous breakfast and depart with an en-route lunch. On arrival, you will be dropped off t your hotel or airport for your onward flight.
