You will traverse along some of Africa`s rough roads with an opportunity to see endemic wildlife in the North of Kenya, a beautiful mountain forest surrounded by hot dusty deserts, eventually arriving at the shores of the beautiful Jade Sea (Lake Turkana). As well as spectacular scenery is the people of northern Kenya that Make the most lasting impression; Nomadic pastoralists such as the Gabbra, Turkana, and Samburu whose adherence to a strictly traditional lifestyle and dress is practically unique in modern East Africa.

Lake Turkana is the largest desert Lake in the World and extends for 288 kilometers from Kenya up to the Ethiopia border, surrounded by volcanic rock and desert.

Lake Turkana is a massive inland sea, the largest desert Lake in the world and also known as the Jade Sea because of its remarkable blue-green color. I did the 4 day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru safaris. From start to finish, Simba Paka Tours was professional, reactive, and great at communicating all facets of the trip. I did the mid-range tour and Paul organized my hotels on arrival and departure, transfers, and the best tour guide possible. If you do this tour and you get Johnny Jackson as a guide, you will be very lucky. Hellen W
