There are buffalo, giraffe and zebra in the park as well as rhino and lion, and an amazing wealth of bird life. We don’t have Elephants in Nairobi National park.

Day 2 – 4: A Nothern Adventure 3 Nights

Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast you transfer back to Nairobi and Wilson Airport for domestic scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve. Lying in Kenya’s more arid northern region, Samburu offers a different wildlife experience to the more familial destinations in East Africa such as the Masai Mara and Serengeti. Samburu is a land of Giant African Elephants and lions but also the long-necked gerenuk and rapier- horned, baisy Oryx. Your home for three nights in Samburu intrepids. There is also Internet access, swimming pool and an activity club for the children as well as a wellness therapist, fining and natural history talks each night for the parents and adults in the group.

Safari Day 5-7: To the Masai Mara National Reserve for 3 nights

Today a scheduled domestic flight takes you south and to the great rolling plains of the Masai Mara. Your accommodation will be at Mara Intrepids has a riverside setting inside Masai Mara Game reserve rich region close to the famous Mara River. Her is where you will millions of wildebeest during the mid- year Migration season. Such is the scale of wildelife here that you will be treated to excellent sightings of other animals all year round. It is an area rich in predators- big cats, hyenas and crocodiles- but Mara Intrepids is fenced and you can walk around on its green lawns and go bird watching.
There is Wi-fi at the camp and your children go on adventures with experienced guides to search for animals or visit local villages to meet the Maasai and see what the camp does for the local community. It is a highly educational experience- there are wildlife slide shows each night.

    What Others Say About Us

I recommend Simba Paka Safaris. We had a great experience at the Maasai Mara with our guide who was extremely knowledgeable and managed to help us see all the animals that we wanted to see. Diana B
I did the 4 day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru safaris. From start to finish, Simba Paka Tours was professional, reactive, and great at communicating all facets of the trip. I did the mid-range tour and Paul organized my hotels on arrival and departure, transfers, and the best tour guide possible. If you do this tour and you get Johnny Jackson as a guide, you will be very lucky. Hellen W
Amazing Safari! We did a Safari with Paul and his staff, 5 days in Masai Mara. It was a wonderful experience, that allowed us to see all the Big Five thanks to our guide's ability! Paul is very gentle and professional. I recommend it very much for a unique experience. Sabina F
Mr. Paul is a very friendly and just a gentlemen person. We did a 7-day Kenya safari and we not only saw the big 5. Following advice from Paul from Simba Paka Safaris we went to the following national parks; Nakuru, Masai Mara, Amboseli, and Lake Naivasha. Bhagwan S
We did a 7-day Safari from Masai Mara over Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha to Amboseli. First of all, our driver/guide Francis was wonderful! He was super engaged, always attentive, and made sure we got the best possible views and pictures. When we asked for something, he immediately ensured it was sorted out. Max F
