Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to your hotel

Your adventure begins as soon you arrive at Entebbe International Airport. You will meet our driver guide who will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel
Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park

After a delicious breakfast, the first part of your journey will take you from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After the briefing, you will drive to a place where the rhinos can be well spotted. You will be able to see the rhinos from very near. After rhino tracking, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Game drives to the Delta and Boat Safari to the Falls

Enjoy your breakfast and then take off in time to cross the bridge over the Nile. On the northern part of the Nile, you will start you game drive safari in search for wildlife. It is hard to predict which animal you will see first, is it the lion, elephant, giraffe or the leopard? In the afternoon, the game drive will conclude and head back to the ferry to cross back over the river for your lunch. After lunch, you will take a boat ride on the mighty Nile to the world famous Murchison Falls and take a hike to the top of the falls.

Day 4 -5 : Kibale Forest National Park

The journey to Kibale Forest National Park is long but beautiful. The road meanders through the greenest hills with truly breathtaking views. After checking in, you will relax and prepare for the early morning hike to track the chimpanzee. The track will start early for about three hours and later to your lodge for lunch. You will then visit Bigodi Swamp a beautiful area in the rain forest with an abundance of animals: monkeys, birds and mybe forest elephants.

Day 6 -7 : Queen Elizabeth National Park, Boat Safari on Kizinga Channel and Lion Tracking Experience

After your breakfast your next destination is Queen Elizabeth National Park. It it a huge park where wildlife and people coexist in harmony. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Here you will see different bird species and large mammals. The following morning you will join the resident research team for a unique lion tracking experience.

Day 8-9: Transfer via Inshasha to Bwindi National Park and Gorilla Tracking

After a morning game drive in Inshasha it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Check in at your camp and prepare for yet another highlight of this amazing trip.
Today you will spend you day tracking the gorillas. The hike is spectacular and it takes you through dense rain forest and up steep hills. Once you have found the gorillas you will get to spend one hour with them and later to your lodge.

Day 10-11 : To Lake Mburo National Park

The drive to Lake Mburo will take about 5 hours and have an afternoon game drive after checking in.
In the evening you can enjoy a drink at the campfire and later have dinner and overnight. Lake Mburo is the smallest park in Uganda but is still full of charm. It has a very large number of zebras and a family of Rothchild’s giraffe. You will have a guided safari walk in the morning and you can spend the rest of the day relaxing or do an optional activity.

Day 12 : Return Journey

After breakfast, you will bid a fare well to the pack and drive to Entebbe International Airport or you can opt to visit the Botanical Gardens or have a meal on the beach of Lake Victoria before your flight.
