Nyungwe Forest National Park is located in the southwestern region of Rwanda bordering Burundi. It is one of the stunning and oldest rainforests in Africa rich in biodiversity and spectacularly beautiful. It is one of the biggest national parks that have boosted the tourism industry in Rwanda well known for chimpanzee trekking. Being near the equator, the park’s temperatures are fairly constant throughout the year. But because of its elevation, the climate is on the cool side.

Wildlife: The forest is home to over 1000 animals, birds, and natural species

Activities: The park offers unique activities such as bird watching ,chimpanzee ,trekking ,canopy walks and forest walks
