Lake Naivasha National Park

Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake in Kenya and its part of the Great Rift Valley being the highest lake within the region. With a surface area of 139 kilometres squares, lake naivasha dominates the landscape and is surrounded by a swamp and beyond by forests of the fever tree. It is famous for its high population of hippos and flamingos. The lake is a birder’s  paradise as it is home to over 400 bird species.

Wildlife: With the access to the crescent island , it supports wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas and waterbucks.

Activities: The activities at the lake includes boat ride, crescent island,crater lake game sanctuary as well as Elsamere conservation centre.
