Aberdare National Park
Aberdare National Park is a protected ares in the Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya located east of the East African Rift Valley. The beautiful scenic regionis much cooler than the savannahs and offers a completely different perspective on the country. The scenery is spectacular with its mountainous terrain coverd in thick tropical forests swathed in mist.

Aberdare National Park is the best known as the site where in 1952, Prince Elizabeth visited and stayed at the Treetops Hotel.
The park provides a habitat for elephants, rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others.
