Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Pick up at your hotel or visit our offices at kimathi house 2nd floor room 206 for safari briefing, depart for the scenic drive to Maasai Mara Game reserve via the Great Rift Valley, a stopover at the view point to see this great depression. The topography changes as you enter the vastly grassy plains of the reserve-the jewel of Kenya’s game park, located in the northern section of the great Serengeti plains. This is home to the “big five’’…Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino, as well as thousands of the greater and lesser plains game. Everything seems to be magnified here. Drive to Narok-town where you will stop for Lunch, proceed to Maasai Mara arriving in good time at the park after check in, freshen up then go for an introductory evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mwangaza Tented Camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive exploring the park in search of the Big 5. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film Out of Africa was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to mid-October. The reserve abounds with bird life close to about 452 species have been recorded. Picnic lunch will be provided. You have the option of visiting the Maasai Village. Dinner and overnight at Mwangaza Tented camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nakuru

After breakfast depart with an en-route game drive as you leave Mara region to Lake Nakuru you will have a chance of viewing the leopard, cheater, lions and other cuts hunting. This is the best time to spot the cats family when making a kill for their breakfast/lunch as the sun rises-up. Break for lunch (either in Mai Mahiu or Narok) then proceed to Nakuru. Dinner and overnight stay at Lanet Mat Fam Resort.

DAY 4: Nakuru – Naivasha

Morning breakfast then leave for a game drive in Nakuru National park with parked lunch then later drive to Naivasha then leave for hells gate national park, which is mainly, comprised of savannah ecosystem harbors a wide variety of wildlife. There are over 100 species of birds in the park. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also common and Optional (Boat Ride & Cycling). The park is also home to klipspringer antelope Dinner and Overnight at the Jane Guest House.

Day 5: Naivasha – Amboseli

Early Morning Breakfast at the Hotel Then Depart to Amboseli with Packed Lunch or Lunch will be Enroute. Drive to Amboseli National park which is located in the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest – whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You are likely to see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals. Dinner and overnight at Kimana Camp

Day 6 Amboseli -Nairobi

Early Morning game drive and later back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out then leave Amboseli to Nairobi
